How to choose right college after MAT or CMAT ?

There is no central score card wise central admission process in this case.So here is some tips does and doesnot do.
See your first and formost goal is job but in many cases it is seen that average MAT bschool’s /ngo agents are manipulating you by some tricky vocabulary like
  1. Exposure (I am unable to understand what exacttly does it mean ,it will add some advanatge in in hand salary or it will help me to get stable job profile in blue-chip company !,if you understand then help me to understand this Flamboyant word)
  2. Free wifi (Due to Jio tsunami and the service providers war you do not need it or you are not investing 10/12L to get this)
  3. Lush green campus(you will not take away the lush green campus to home you will take only a stable job profile and good ‘in hand salary’
  4. Free laptop (it is a trick to gift the laptop at your own cost)
  5. Foreign tour (Invest 70,000 and have a trip to Indonesia,do not need to invest 12L,toppers are given free trip but you need to pay extra as charged by Thomas cook)
  6. Tie up with foreign Univ.(It is the rediculous that in maximum case they are tied up with 3rd class foreign univ and you willnot find a single advantage of this tie up)
  7. 100 % placement (it does not make any sense if you are in bulk hire & fire profile)
  8. 9.6 L ctc package( it is just like Adam’s apple by which you are lured, where ctc may be low of profile may be some time unrealistic target sales or your foreign salary when it is comapred with dollar and living fooding cost you will find the equation is same of low package)
It is shocking also that they coerced their present, even first year students to make a good promotional review by hiding the in campus reality. How is it possible that a 1/2month newly admit guy can give the 5star to placement ,some time even they just copy paste the college website’s claim.Try to catch 1/2 yr old alumni from linkedin not take review of current students.
So,what to do ?
First ask yourself which field is your cup of tea(Sales,HR,Core finance,Financial sales )
Then check the placement brochure or website of your college coherently. In maximum cases(80-90%)you will find out just picture, mnc name and package NOT in hand salary or JOB PROFILE. So to end the dilemma just do 2 things
1)Send a mail to placement head of the college or the corporate resource officer(you will get mail from website or ask the college to provide it)by mentioning your field demand the full data of last year placement OF YOUR FIELD ALONG WITH JOB PROFILE NOT DESIGNATION ONLY.
If they ask you to see the website then remind them job profile(not designation) and take home salary is not mentioned in brochure.
2)Make a linkedin profile and catch the college alumni from there(not too much old but 1/2yr alumni is perfect)who can give you the inside campus reality and try to avoid views of current students as in our a ncr based college ask their newly admit students to make a positive win win review about the college!
Hope this will help you to get your answer. You can make comment here and have patience,We will try our best to guide.
